Cloud native architecture is a design methodology that utilizes cloud services such as EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lightsail, Kubernetes, Lambda etc from AWS to allow dynamic and agile application development techniques that take a modular approach to building, running, and updating software through a suite of cloud-based micro-services versus a monolithic application infrastructure. It requires a very different architecture and deployment methodology than traditional enterprise applications, which would typically run in an on-premises data center. Developers with Cloud skills are in high demand due to app modernization and transformation efforts in every organization.
